Dima How to enter cheats
Cheats in The Sims 4 go into a special line called the "console". To open it, hold Ctrl + Shift + C on your keyboard. On macOS the console opens with Command + Shift + C.
Some cheats only work after you enter the testing cheats code testingcheats true
Most cheats are entered in Live Mode, so don't type them on the start screen — go into your household first.
You do not have to type the cheats by hand. Select a cheat on this page, copy it with Ctrl + C (Command + C), then go into the game, open the console and paste it with Ctrl + V (Command + V).
Money and household funds cheats
Cheat | What it does |

motherlode | Adds 50,000 Simoleons to the current household |
kaching and rosebud | Add 1,000 Simoleons to the current household |
money {amount} | Sets an exact amount of money for the current household (enter testingcheats true first). Example: money 10000. |
FreeRealEstate on | Enter this while you are choosing a lot for your household and every home becomes free for your Sim. To turn it off, enter FreeRealEstate off. |
Build and Buy Mode cheats
Cheat | What it does |

bb.moveobjects | Lets objects overlap and removes placement limits, both horizontally and vertically on a wall (for example, you can put a toilet in the middle of a room or raise a bookcase above floor level). |
bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement | Unlocks all career objects and rooms (the ones you normally only get by reaching a certain career level). After entering it, we recommend you re-enter Buy Mode. |

bb.showhiddenobjects | Turns on Debug mode, which contains hidden objects such as invisible lights. After entering the cheat, find the hidden objects by typing "DEBUG" in the search bar. |
bb.showliveeditobjects | Unlocks more than 1000 extra decorative objects that the developers used when they built the worlds. Before this cheat you must enter the testing cheats code and bb.showhiddenobjects. After entering it, find the objects by typing "DEBUG" in the search bar. |
bb.enablefreebuild | Lets you edit the hospital, the police station, the science lab and hidden lots. |
Satisfaction Points
Enter testingcheats true before you use this cheat.

Changing skill levels
To set a skill level, first enter the testing cheats code testingcheats true, then the cheat from the table below. Do not forget to add the level you want at the end of the cheat: for example, to get level 5 in Cooking you enter stats.set_skill_level Major_HomestyleCooking 5. The maximum level for each skill is in the third column of the table.
